Meghan + Stephen

January 18, 2008
Meet Meghan and Stephen.  We went to the Reservoir near Towson to take the first set of engagement photographs. It was a blast! They were fun to work with, not to mention very photogenic. It was the perfect day.  And, we were blessed to have an awesome sunset especially since there is not much color elsewhere in the dead of winter. We are going to do another engagement session at the drive-in theater when Meghan has another break from school. I am shooting their wedding this coming June. I can’t wait!

They were certainly troopers. It was very muddy, and Meghan went hiking in her high heels!

I just love this sunlight!

Ok, so they hiked and climbed trees.  :) Like I said, they were troopers!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

No photos to post for this one. Just a little word of encouragement. 2008 brings a bit of anxiousness to my spirit because there are potentially a lot of changes about to happen in Josh and I’s lives…. and things are going very well, which means that it will be very busy.

For a peace of mind I spend my morning reading  scripture and reflecting on life. I couldn’t survive with these peaceful morning minutes with my coffee.  :)

Today I read a little devotional which just hit the spot:
God is interested in the texture of our days. One thing I have come to except is that some days are busier than others; if we choose to participate in life, we cannot avoid this ebb and flow. On the flow days, when urgency drives us and we lurch (late) from one event to the next, we can pray for time…..and God will give us little corners to cut so we don’t have to be breathless.
-Leslie Williams

Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is my shepherd,  I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside still waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
