Jaimee + Jeremy

May 27, 2008
I am back to blog!! It has been awhile and I have some posts to catch up on! The other weekend I traveled to Connecticut for my friend’s surprise Bridal Shower, so I will be posting for that soon! I also have another wedding from this weekend to post as well as an engagement session that I shot this afternoon. So, stay tuned!

Below are photographs from Jamiee and Jeremy’s wedding. I must say that I go to a lot of weddings, and this wedding was truly amazing. Their love for eachother is soooo sweet. I fought tears for most of the afternoon! Their ceremony just touched my heart. And, their love for the Lord was so evident. It was such a blessing to photograph.

These are the 6 flower girls! Yes, 6! They were absolutely adorable!

Here are a few details of the day. Their colors were navy blue with a hint of pink and a hint of polka dots.

Jamiee and Jeremy. They are enjoying a moment after Jeremy surprised her and sang her a song. It was so sweet!

A little out of order…. but these are the guys! They were troopers. I am sure that they were hot in their tuxes.

The handsome groom.

Here are the girls getting ready to head down the aisle.

Here comes the bride!

A moment of prayer.

Jamiee, fixing her shoes on the side of a pick up truck.  :)

On the bridge of the Links at Gettysburg.

I am proud of this photo, only because I was driving the golf cart while shooting with the other hand….

Still not over lens flare from the sun.

A gorgeous sunset. They really had perfect weather for their wedding!

The girls had a blast on the practice green! They were hard to keep up with.

Jamie suprised Jeremy with a motorcycle as a wedding gift! Amazing couple. They were also celebrating Jaimee’s parents who were about to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary. The evening was full of surprises!

And I’m off!

Jennifer + Alex

May 12, 2008
On Saturday, I drove to the Delaware beach area to shoot a wedding. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that area! I love the small beach towns, the serene countryside, the fruit and vegetable markets…. I would definitely move there in a heartbeat! Jennifer and Alex were an awesome couple to work with. They were super laid back, and we had fun! The bummer is that the ceremony was supposed to be outside, but because of all the rain, they made the call to get married in the tent, and wouldn’t you know that about an hour before their ceremony the blue skies opened up and the sun shone through. It was still a gorgeous ceremony, but I know they would have loved to have had it outside. The wedding was held at Lavendar Fields.

Here are Jennifer’s gals getting ready. They had their own little salon set up.

EVERBODY helped her get ready. That says a lot about Jennifer. Everyone was so excited to help her because she is such a sweet person!

…and the flower girl, Kate. So cute! She had practiced and was ready to spread her flowers.

Jennifer watching as the sky got lighter and lighter!!!

She looks nervous here, but she never showed it!

Kate and “Daddy Big Guy“

At last, you get to see the groom, Alex.  :)

The bridal party snacking in between shots.

And walking across the field…while their heels kept sinking into the ground.

The gals. Had to post this, because the girls are standing among snakes. Yes, snakes! Yikes! Girls, you are brave!

And of course the handsome men. Ok guys, you are brave too.  :)

Alex and his dad having a man talk.

Having some fun with the lens flare from the sun.

Jennifer, her mom, and aunts did the flower arrangements themselves. They were gorgeous. Any brides looking for a florist?

This was by far one of the sweetest father daughter dances I have ever witnessed, and I just love the sunlight on their faces.

And, this was one of the craziest groups of gals going for the bouquet! I focused on the flowers and just missed one of the gals falling onto the ground. You can see her going down. Don’t worry, she is ok.  :)

Jennifer and her mom!

Alex, enjoying the reception.

Pregnant Ladies!!!

May 8, 2008
Meet Meg and Sommer. These are two of my friends from high school who are pregnant and super cute! Meg is due (with a suprise!) on July 5th and Sommer is due (with a girl) on August 18th!  This past weekend it was Meg’s baby shower. Before the shower we did a very very quick, rushed maternity session. We got some good ones, but should have had tons more!

This is a group of us at Meg’s shower. From left to right: My mom, me, Meg’s mom, Meg, Sara, Casey (Sara’s nephew), and Sara’s mom.

Ok, now for some maternity shots!

Here is Meg’s hubby Rob. They are so cute! High school sweethearts actually! They started dating our junior year after prom, and then we all went to Penn State together!

So precious!! Mom and Dad to be!

Back to the baby shower! Sara and I feeling baby kick!

Yay!!! Go Penn State! Baby will start his/her wardrobe out perfectly. No wardrobe is complete without PSU gear!

The other pregnant lady. :)  It will be her turn soon!

Ahhhh…. Sara and her sister Katie in their gorgeous hats! Proud to say that she is one of my best friends. Where can I get a hat like that?!
Sara’s family owns Nick’s Place, which is where the shower was held. They did a wonderful job. The shower was perfect!

And, the delicious cake! It was so fun. I definitely have to make this recipe this coming summer!

That’s all for now. Wedding from last weekend to come as well…. and then off to Delaware to shoot a wedding this coming Saturday, so stay tuned for pics of Jennifer and Alex!

A VERY small preview

May 5, 2008
Things are BUSY! :)   I was out of town this past weekend for one of my most wonderful friend’s baby shower. She is one of the cutest pregnant ladies ever because she is so petite and she is ALL baby! Here is one pic for now of Meg and Rob, and baby to be. They are keeping the gender a surprise! Check in a day or 2 to see more pics of Meg and her baby shower as well as a few pics from a wedding that I attended Saturday.
