Tina + Jesse

June 29, 2008
The other weekend, I photographed Tina and Jesse up in Essex, Md. I chose to post my favorite “fun” photos, because that is the word that would best describe this group! Below are a few pics of the guys. They are certainly country boys who fish and hunt, and drive big trucks, which was fun because I am from a small town, and they reminded me of the kind of guys you would find in my hometown. You don’t come across many small town guys in a metropolitan area.

This is one of my new favorite photos! Just love it!

It was a loooong day for Noah.

Such a serious conversation!

Tina is so cute! Love her facial expressions!

Tina, giving her mom a rose during the ceremony.

And a sparkler exit from the church….

So sweet and lighthearted!

This was actually taken as a reflection of the mirror on the ceiling… I did turn it around….because it was upside down and backwards… like this view better.

The cake got a little bit messy….

I don’t love this shot, but is a preface to the following photos… Jackets came off, and well…. it got crazy!

The Superman Dance….from Soulja Boy, which by the way, I am determined to go and learn!

One of the groomsmen on the caterers cart….taking a ride around the dance floor.

I can’t even comment on this one…   :)

And just because they enjoyed their cocktails… I made them a special cocktail!

Bethany + Jonathan

June 26, 2008
Meet Bethany and Jonathan! Last weekend I headed down to Kent Island to shoot their e-session. We had an awesome time. Every time I drive over the bay bridge, I just take a deep breath. I absolutely love it over on that side. Bethany’s family has property right on the water, which was an awesome place for some shots.

Isn’t it such a peaceful place!

And I just love this old boat. The next 2 are my favorite shots.

They were so cute! Jonathan kept making her think that she would fall into the water… loved it!

I think I make everybody jump…. just because it is always fun. I think that their jumping shots are a few of my favorites.

They love to ride their bikes around the trails…. so we did just that.

Thanks guys! I had a great time!!

Christina + Anthony

June 24, 2008
This past weekend it was off to Annapolis again for another e-session! We went super early in the morning to beat the crowds. It was definitely nice to have the town to ourselves. Christina and Anthony are getting married in Annapolis this fall at St. Mary’s and having their reception at the Waterfront Marriott.

My favorite pic of the day!

These pics are fun too! Someone pulled up in this awesome car, and I just had to ask if we could “borrow” it for a few pics. They were so gracious to say yes!

I posted 2 of the next pic, because I couldn’t decide what look I liked better…..

We just kept running into nice people! There was a gracious woman who offered her boat for us to take photos on… we didn’t even have to ask this time!

And then for a little playground fun….

This is also at the playground, and is walking distance from the reception which is exciting because I love this wall… I would love to use it with Christina in her wedding dress.

We will also be taking photos here at the wedding. It is property right next to the St. Mary’s church.

I had a great time guys! Can’t wait for the big day!

Katie + Drew

June 22, 2008
Katie and Drew are so cute! I had not met Drew prior to the e-session, so it was fun to get to know him a little bit. He certainly kept Katie laughing. There were a lot of funny shots that I could post, but I wanted to make sure that I put a preview up that gave them confidence that we did get some “serious” shots!  :) We started out over by Federal Hill Park area….

Drew did not feel so “manly” when I suggested that they “frolick” across the field, but it sure made for a cute shot!

Despite what you might think, they were not high jumpers in high school…..right guys?

There he goes being silly again. Katie made this face a lot.   :)

Some water to cool off…

And then to the O’s game!

Saying goodbye!

Baltimore Cupcake Company

June 19, 2008

Just wanted to share a well kept secret with everyone!! I have lived in the Baltimore area for 5 years not and had not heard of the Baltimore Cupcake Company! My friend and I went just last week, and it was delicious!! I mean, who doesn’t like chocolate fudge brownie cupcakes?! My friend Meaghan (don’t you love how she spells her name!) wants to start a cookie company someday and so she loves researching cute little bakery’s and found this cute place!  They even have a cupcake happy hour! It is an exciting time for the owner, Tracy, as she plans to open a new store in Georgetown next week!

Isn’t it such a cute store?!

This is a stand that they have used to display the cupcakes.

And chocolate covered oreos! Yum!

The stand below is actually made of white chocolate!
