Just wanted to share a quick photo from our vacation in Hawaii! Excited to say that Ainsley’s first time in the ocean was in the beautiful Pacific! She LOVED the pool…. here is a little peek of her Hawaiian vacation.

We are hoping that her first words are: I want to live in Hawaii…

Although I wasn’t anxious to leave Hawaii to come back home… I was anxious for a package that was waiting for me! I got the tracking while we were away that a new sample album that I had ordered was ready!

The album features Erica and Paul’s wedding at the Grey Rock Mansion… you can see their wedding blog post here. And…. fun news is that their wedding will be featured on Style Me Pretty Blog soon! Yay! Congrats to Erica and Paul for a beautiful wedding and their fabulous details!

Last October I had the privilege to photograph this couple’s wedding:

Megan + Adam

If you follow the blog they might look familiar… sad news is that the blog post on their wedding was lost when my website was hacked…   So I can’t link to it.  They got married last October, and Adam’s brother got engaged just after their wedding, and I had the opportunity to photograph his brother Andrew’s wedding at the beginning of the month!

It is always fun to see familiar faces and there were a lot that I recognized at the wedding b/c I had seen them in October….

There was also another familiar face in the crowd from my hometown…

I did a double take in the church when I saw Erin (above) b/c we went to high school together…I played soccer with her sister and graduated with her brother… in the teeny town of Edinboro, Pa… and she was sitting in one of the last pews. It was a fun surprise and it turns out that she married Kate’s cousin. Small world.

So, onto Kate and Andrew…. the super sweet newlyweds…

I remember watching them dance and Megan and Adam’s wedding… they looked like they were having soooo much fun, so when Kate called about her wedding I was super excited! They planned their wedding pretty quickly and we didn’t have the opportunity to do an engagement session so you haven’t seen them on the blog yet…

Kate got ready at the Maryland Inn, where the reception was also held…

They had a sweet ceremony at a cute little church, Holy Family, in Davidson, Md.

After the ceremony we headed back to Annapolis for photos… It was a super time crunch, but we were able to get it all taken care of…..  :)

I am going to say that the ladies were probably glad that there was a time crunch…. b/c it was pretty cold outside! But, they were awesome sports!!!

The cake was actually made by Andrews mom! It looked amazing and from what I hear, it was delicious!

If I had to pick one of my favorite parts of the wedding day… I would hands down say that I love the first dance… and the father daughter dance. They are such sweet moments and I love watching their interactions while they dance….

It turns out that Josh and I were in Hawaii at the same time as Kate and Andrew were there for their honeymoon…They went to several of the Hawaiian islands…and ended at Kauai, which is where Josh and I were for our stay.  :)

Kate and Andrew, I hope that you had an amazing time in Hawaii!!!

I just have to start by saying that I had a B-L-A-S-T with this couple! They are fun loving…. full of life and laughter. And, their relationship just has this sweetness that I adore.

James was in his glory because he got to affection his lady all day long.  :) He wanted me to come back for more days like they had… so cute!

Emily and James made my job super easy because they were just themselves and enjoyed eachother throughout the day.

We did their engagement session in Philly, and I am excited to shoot their wedding this August in Philly as well. I had the privilege to work with Emily’s mom at John’s Hopkins with Early Reading First, so I had heard so many great things about Emily, and I am so honored that I will be shooting her wedding and working with a family that I just love!
