Meet Faith and Rob! I met them a few years back at Heather and Eric’s wedding. Faith was a bridesmaid in the wedding and I was so excited when she contacted me to shoot her wedding next May! It is always so much fun to work with people that I have previously met.

We shot their engagement session in Old Ellicott City… a place that they love to spend time, and we had a blast! They were super into having a theme…. and they looked so cute!

They spend many days enjoying the weather… reading, enjoying each other’s company…The sweetest light of the day!

Got a little carried away… and picked a few from the yummy sunlight here… It is my absolute favorite light to play in….

Meet Lauren and Brian. They are just the cutest!!!! Lauren had contacted me quite a long time ago because I am shooting one of her sorority sisters weddings this fall…. (If you remember Emmie and Carl in Annapolis). She wasn’t yet engaged, but knew that it was coming at some point in time….

So, months later, I got an email from Brian saying that he was planning his surprise proposal, and that he wanted to book a session for engagement photos as a surprise to her! How cute!

So, the week before their session, they took a trip to California, and he proposed while out in Cali. He told her the day before their session so that she could pick her outfits…. Just love it! What a sweet surprise.

And, it was so much fun to watch them together. Brian is in the military and they do not see each other very often at all… so there was such a sweetness to their relationship… and the way that they looked at each other. I was LOVING it!

We headed to Havre de Grace for their session, which is most likely where they will be getting married. I have to say, I had never ventured around Havre de Grace before, but it is such a cute town! Josh and I might have to plan a little weekend getaway there before the baby comes!

They were certainly troopers for their session. We shot on one of the days that it was over 100 degrees… but didn’t have much of a choice since Brian was only in town for a few days…

I was hoping to share these with you before I left…. but didn’t get a chance to post them. Josh’s grammy had passed away, and so after my wedding on Saturday, we flew to Illinois to be with his family and go to the family arrangements. We had a really nice time, and it truly was a celebration of her life. Grammy would have been 98 this coming December, and she lived a great healthy life. She passed away in her sleep…. but she was a healthy and happy woman, who we loved so much.  I will have to share some fun photos of her… She really was an amazing woman!

Steve and Anna’s session was definitely fun! They are getting married next July in Sonoma Valley, CA, and I can’t wait for the wedding! They are a great couple… and it will be gorgeous! I had a blast at their session… and loved the locations that we shot at….

We started at Bourbon St. in Baltimore… very cool place. Steve is a DJ, and a big part of Bourbon Street. He runs quite a few business ventures on top of DJ-ing. If you are interested in checking him out, you can click here. Maybe you have already heard of him: Smash Gordon.  Josh and I plan to go and check out one of his shows.   Should be fun… and Josh LOVES listening to DJ’s!

So with that said…. here are a few pics taken inside of Bourbon St. I will share a few more of Steve in action in a few days…. We did a little side shoot.

Loved shooting here because the lighting was so interesting… It is always fun to play around in different lighting…. Just love the mood of the shots.

After Bourbon St. we headed over to the Woodberry Kitchen.  We did sit down and have a bite to eat. It was my first time there… and it was amazing! Many thanks to Anna and Steve. It is one of their favorite places to go… and I can see why! We took a few quick photos inside, but then headed out around the Clipper Mill Area since there were a lot of people around having dinner.

If you haven’t been to the Woodberry Kitchen yet….. I highly suggest you go! Can’t wait to go back with Josh!

Meet Emily and John! They are getting married this July at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and I can’t wait! We did their engagement session in Canton because they live there and love it! The first time we went to shoot we got rained out… and by rained out, I mean it 100% poured! Which was a bummer…

But this week we were able to head out and finish up their session.

John and Emily met through roommates 3 1/2 years ago… and had their first date at Tsunami in Annapolis… They love to go get sushi together… and when walking around we got a quick few photos at Vaccaro’s because it is another little place that they like to go to together.

This was right before it rained….

And then we sought some shelter hoping the rain would pass… They had a beer… but the rain didn’t stop  

Luckily we had a beautiful day on Monday, and I had a great time with them at their session! I totally love watching couples interact… and the way that a guy looks at his lady…. So incredibly sweet!!!! I don’t always share a ton about the couples when I blog, but I had to share a few things about them that I thought were really cute.

John’s favorites things about Emily are that she loves SNL and sometimes laughs so hard that she can’t breath…  He loves that she is so sweet and considerate and when he gets home from work she makes him feel like they haven’t seen each other in ages…. (I think that is sooo cute!)….. and she reads books faster then anyone he has ever met…

Thankfully we were able to get some photos at the dock in Canton…. Aren’t they cute?!

Emily and John are a super active couple, and love running…. I actually ran into them in Federal Hill when I was shooting another couples engagement session…. They talk about running a marathon someday… which I think is awesome. I love working out and stay active, but I just don’t know if I have it in me to run a marathon.

Thanks Emily and John!!! Can’t wait until the wedding!

Meet Toni and Mike! They are engaged and are getting married this June 12th! Can’t believe that will be coming so soon!

Toni and Mike actually met at a wedding! they hung out a few times after the wedding and have since been inseparable. So now it is time for their wedding and they couldn’t be more excited.

They were super cute… and a bit nervous for their session, but I thought that they did awesome! And, I can’t wait until the wedding.  They brought their most adorable and well behaved dog,  Maggie.  I think Josh and I may need Toni and Mike to train our dog….

We spent some time at a farm up near Westminster/Finksburg at Cold Saturday Farm/Liberty Resevoir. The property was beautiful and we really had the most perfect day.

It is definitely fun to spend time with clients and learn more about them…… and I think it is AWESOME that Mike mentors kids in Baltimore City. What an amazing job… Seriously life changing for those kids… and I am really hoping to get some photos with Toni and her horses!! They are getting married on her parents property, and they have horses… Toni has been riding since “before she was born…”   A bride and horses… that could make for some AMAZING photos!
