Sooooo…. it’s been awhile since I posted anything on here…. and it is not for a lack of things to share. Life has been very crazy…a good crazy this past month, and I do have some news that I will be posting soon.

But before I share the news, I thought I would share Kristi and Jason’s engagement session with you. I met Kristi and Jason through some of my previous couples: Angela + Josh, and Megan and Travis (whose post was lost when the website crashed, sad face).

Kristi and Jason met at senior week of highschool…went to York together, became friends…. and had their first “date” 5 years later.

They are a super sweet couple… the session was full of lots of laughter… I had such a great time with them and can’t wait until their wedding this October at the Grand Lodge!

We started at their condo… caught this just outside their door….

They have this great trail walking distance to their place…. So we went for a little walk, and they brought their dog along.  :)

Did I mention that they were all smiles and laughter?

After spending some time at their place we headed to Kristi’s parents house which is on the water, and such a perfect place! This is actually where Jason proposed… out on the dock. Kristi was expecting a Jetski…. not a ring, but it looks like the ring turned out to be just as good, if not better.

They had a gorgeous sunset!

They spend a lot of time on her parents boat… so we grabbed a few.

So just imagine you were vacationing in Greece…

Just enjoying a beautiful day in the pool on the island of Santorini….

Amazing so far, yes?

And then you spotted him. Yup, true story…as if it could get any better than vacationing in Greece.

Kate and Bryn met on vacation…in Greece… in the pool.

Pretty amazing, yeah?

Kate is from the area… and Bryn is from Australia….

I hadn’t met them prior to their session, so I was SUPER excited to meet them! I had chatted with Kate several time and met her mom (and best friend) to chat about the wedding.

They are getting married this October at her parent’s house and it will be beautiful!

Oh Facebook…. you are a pretty amazing tool…I love you for lots of reasons… although there are a few things I don’t love….I don’t love that you can be a black hole, and when I intend to spend 5 minutes I spend 20…that you change privacy settings without really giving a heads up….and that you allow people to tag really awful or embarrassing photos of me…

But I love that you allow me to keep up with friends and family that I don’t live near, you are a great tool for my business, and I LOVE that you help folks find LOVE.

Caroline and Kyle met through a law school Facebook group that was set up for entering students. They chatted occasionally throughout the summer, and then met outside the parking garage the first day of orientation… and the rest is history!

Loved spending the evening with them in downtown Annapolis. And, Caroline got her makeup done by the fabulous Amie Decker, of Amie Decker Beauty. Btw… it looks AWESOME when folks get makeup done for sessions…and it is a really great time to do your trial for your wedding as well!

Such a cute little house! We chatted about our perfect little Annapolis dream homes… Caroline and Kyle have actually been working REALLY hard… like every spare second hard, to fix up his house. It sounds like they have been working nonstop… but I am sure that it looks amazing!

I may buy the sign on the right for my husband….

We spent the last part of the evening down by the dock… perfect day, perfect temperature… perfect couple.

I love, love working with folks that I have met before at other weddings… whether they are guests, or in the bridal party. It is soooo much fun to see familiar faces!

I met Julia at Nicole and Brook’s wedding… Unfortunately that is one of the weddings that was lost on my old blog, but if you have been following you might remember Brooks and Nicole….

And here are the ladies. Julia is the 4th lady going from left to right.  

So, I had a great time seeing Julia again… and hanging out with her and Adam for the evening. They are getting married in Italy next year. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be!

They love going to Orioles games, so we started near the stadium for a few pics… I was hoping the area would be flooded with orange. That wasn’t the case, but it was still fun…

And the bird came over!!! So fun! He gave Adam the thumbs up on the ring. I would have to agree!

We let Adam wear his sunglasses for a few. Guys always come with their sunglasses on… And… I am not sure if you have ever seen the skateboarding dog…. but he was downtown and it was amazing! I will have to post a pic!

After walking around near Oriole Park, we spent some time in Federal Hill…

I love walking around the neighborhoods… checking out different streets and looking for new places!

And last we stopped at the Wine Market… They met on Match.com, and this was where they had their first date.  So, I left them there after the session… to enjoy another date together!

When I met them one of the first things that they told me was how un-photogenic they were…. A lot of folks say that… but they insisted it was the truth, and their wasn’t any convincing them otherwise.

I just have to say that I totally disagree! Andy and Holly you were amazing to photograph and so much fun! I had such a great time with you and LOVED watching you interact. Your relationship is sweet and playful… and Andy, I just ADORE the smile that you get from Holly.

Holly is one of my 2010 bride’s cousins… You might remember Toni + Mike. Well, Holly and Andy were at their wedding last summer and Toni and Mike will be at Holly and Andy’s wedding this June…. and they are expecting! I can’t wait to see Toni’s cute baby bump!

Back to the session… we started out in Upperco, Md… borrowed some of the gorgeous property from sweet neighbors…

See! Look at the laugh/smile that he gets out of her.  :)  So cute!

There was this amazing old mill down the road… I love when my clients just get lost in the moment…

Then we headed over to Loch Raven Resevoir for a few shots…

Love when clients trust me… I suggested that they might head into the water… just for a few, and they happily obliged. Love the light… they are some of my favorite shots of the day.

They brought along a football to toss in the grass, and at the end Andy grabbed her and tackled her. L.O.V.E.

And a G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. ring!

For the last few shots we headed to a gold course just down the road… I don’t know which one is is… or I would share.
