You might remember Jill and Michael from a recent engagement session on the blog….:)

They also had me cover their rehearsal, and before the rehearsal we ran around for another little mini session. We were actually in the Bolton Hill/MICA area…. just like the blog post from yesterday of Lindsay and Matt.  Such a fun little area!

The church that you see below is Corpus Christi, and it is where Jill and Michael got married… Such a beautiful church!

Isn’t it amazing? Especially in the fall!!

You might remember Emily and Mike from their SUPER FUN engagement session…. In fact, you would maybe even remember them from Danny + Erika’s Wedding…. Emily was a bridesmaid, and Mike played the guitar for the ceremony…

Emily and Mike are such a sweet couple, and it has been so much fun to photograph them!!! Emily is sweet….. peppy….detail oriented…. and Mike is sweet…all smiles…. reserved… Together they seem to make such a great pair. And they had a beautiful wedding!!

I met them at the Westin Annapolis where they got ready and had their first glance… From there we headed over to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for the ceremony and reception.

I grabbed this of Emily on the elevator on the way down to their first glance… Love it!

We grabbed a few around the hotel…. It was super super hot and sunny…  We found a nice little pocket of shade to shoot in for a few minutes…

And then we went back inside to let them cool off, and grabbed a few more in the hotel lobby.

After the ceremony we headed down to the beach for some bridal party shots… Had some fun playing in the sun….

Thanks everyone for all of your support and understanding…. and for the congrats on our new baby. Just wanted to let you all know that I won’t be able to process orders, answer emails, etc for a period of time (not sure how long yet) because they are taking all of our electronics to clean them out and make sure that they are working correctly. So, we will be without computers for a bit. I will try to keep you updated on our situation and thanks again for your understanding in our circumstances.

Just an update for everyone.

We had our newborn baby early… She was expected to arrive on September 5th, and came early on August 20th! She is just precious and so perfect. We are truly blessed.

We had a house fire and are currently staying in a hotel until we can head back to our house, and so I won’t be answering emails, etc while we take care of everything. Thank you for your understanding. Right now I am not sure what the timeline is. Please do not worry about your photos, they are all 100% safe.  :)

I have a bunch of sessions that are actually blog ready, and Katy has most of them edited and ready for clients. Thank you for your patience as the past week has been quite crazy and unexpected.

We are just thankful that we are all safe. God is so good and we feel so blessed.

So last week I headed up to Philly for an engagement session…. and to meet Kathleen and Paul for the first time.  They are getting married this fall in New Jersey, and I actually hadn’t met them prior to their session…. but I have to say, they are awesome! And we (I think I can speak for us all…..) had a great time walking around the area of Philly that they frequent. Such a cute little place! I am not sure what the exact area that we were walking around is called, but it was definitely a cute area!

It depends on who you ask, but Paul says that their first date was when Kathleen stayed at his house for a sleepover with his sister and they stayed up all night talking…

Kathleen says they went to Ralph’s Italian Restaurant.

So….. whichever it is, it doesn’t really matter too much because it looks like it worked out in the end!

I know I always say this, but I just love watching how couples look at eachother. Kathleen smiled and laughed the entire time… and Paul did the same. No wonder they are a good match!

One of the things that Paul loves about her is that he says she makes all of his worries disappear. Isn’t that cute?! Like a line from a movie cute?! Come on Paul, you can’t say cute things like that around an emotional pregnant woman, because you know what that means…. A flood of tears!!!!

Love when clients trust me… I think that they complied to everything that I suggested…. and they didn’t even question me. Not once! 

Nothing like ice cream on a hot day…

Honey’s Sit n Eat is one of their favorite places to grab a bite. It was an incredibly cute and so I hear an incredibly delicious place to eat!
